Here's a step-by-step guide on how Tap'in's ecommerce drinks order process operates.
1. Orders Are Received
Orders are automatically received into Linnworks (our chosen Ecommerce Order Management System) via your online store's ecommerce platform.
Linnworks integrates with popular platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, eBay, Amazon and Fruugo and automatically checks and updates stock availability in real-time. This helps to avoid orders being placed when there is no stock availability.
Alternatively, orders can be emailed directly to our Customer Service team, where they will manually input your customer's order into Linnworks, subject to stock availability.

2. Stock and Quality Check
Once the customer's order has been received and the stock levels have been confirmed, our Warehouse team conduct quality-control checks on all bottles and cans to ensure that all items are in perfect, sellable condition.
3. Packaging Selection
A suitable box is selected from our sustainable packaging options. At Tap'in, we utilise environmentally-friendly packaging by replacing bubble wrap (which takes hundreds of years to biodegrade) with our double-walled protective boxes and dividers.
All of our supplied boxes are DHL-approved and thoroughly tested to ensure that all drinks cans, bottles and glasses remain safe and secure during transit.

Want to use custom-branded packaging? No problem! After DHL approval (just like our own boxes), we’re happy to pack your orders in branded boxes, helping to enhance your brand presence and customer experience.

4. Packing the Order
Each can or bottle is carefully placed into the selected box and secured appropriately. Our ecommerce fulfilment team manually packs each and every order with care and precision to ensure they're protected as best as possible during delivery.
5. Sealing and Labelling
Each box is securely sealed to prevent breakages or leaks during delivery. Shipping labels are then printed and added to the package, with a final double-check by our team to ensure that your customer's details are correct.
Tracking information is sent to the email address provided in the order received through Linnworks, keeping your customers informed about their shipment status.

6. Palletising for Collection
Once the order is packed and labelled, the box is placed onto a pallet, ready for collection by our chosen courier, DHL.
7. Delivery to Your Customer
The order is then dispatched by Tap'in and delivered to your customer via DHL.
Our dedicated ecommerce team is notified by DHL of any real or potential issues in real-time, allowing us to find a resolution before the customer even becomes aware of the issue. Our Customer Service team also works full-time to help resolve any issues or queries you may have with the order fulfilment and distribution process.
